For all of you who have put in your request. I may just be setting up an entire new blog so that way people who stumble across this one can still let me know and then have access to the new one. I'll keep you all posted on what I decide but I will most likely just create an all new blog so I can get this itch for blogging out soon.

Two Years Down and a Wonderful Eternity to Go!

I am so thankful for the last two years they have been so great! I can't wait to see what eternity holds! I love my husband so much and appreciate all he does for me! These are some of our beautiful wedding pictures and it still seems like just yesterday. I don't want to know how my mom feels probably seems like just yesterday we were her little babies and now she is an empty nester. Time flies too fast to not enjoy every minute of it. So, I love you honey and thank you for enjoying life with me!

What I find myself looking forward to before our trip...

We are so looking forward to next week when we get to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. We have our tickets for Friday night since we are not able to go to the midnight showing or on Thursday! We are so excited! This will so nice to have some other things to look forward to before our trip to help pass the time.

I am also really excited to get glitter toes for our Hawaii trip. They sound like they are awesome plus they are way cute so it is a win win.

This Sunday I am teaching Relief Society. This will be my first time giving the lesson and I am rather nervous. The lesson is on Redemption for the Dead and I don't really know what I am going to do with this topic yet. All I know is that I better be prepared soon because I am running out of time. If anyone has ideas or would like to say anything about it please do so.

Lastly, Cooper has been rather fun during the summer. He is a crazy little dog that loves to be his crazy self. His latest thing that he LOVES are his walks and chasing the little ducks that are on the canal. He could do this for hours and hours if you let him. We are rather entertained by our little guy and that also helps pass the time until we get to go to Hawaii. Our little puppy is so much fun and we adore him. Cooper's other favorite thing about summer is bird watching and sun bathing.... This picture captures both. What a nerd.
P.S. Colby and Diane got to witness Cooper's but wiggle for the first time during our family night. Rather funny but embarrassing... Sorry you two! I know you laughed but I am sorry you had to see him lovin' on his girlfriends.

Summer Vacation Where?

We are really looking forward to our trip that we have planned to Hawaii. We will be going to Oahu and staying in a hotel on Waikiki Beach. We are going in August and celebrating our two year anniversary. We are also going with Colby and Diane, who are so much fun, and they are going to celebrate their one year anniversary! Yay for the newlyweds! You two are awesome and we are really looking forward to having a ton of fun!
It worked out perfect and we got an awesome deal for the flight and hotel. Not to mention that our hotel is pretty sweet so that makes it even better! This trip really could not come fast enough because I am wanting a break from life so bad. It will be fun to snorkel, see Pearl Harbor, hike, attempt to surf, and just relax on the beach. I also keep hearing that I must try their snow cones because they are wonderful. We'll see though... we are going with the snow cone expert so she can be the judge, right Diane? ha ha! There will definately be some awesome pictures to come and some great stories to go along with them so if you want to read these please let me know because we will be going private soon.

Following the Private Club

I chose this picture of Cooper because it looks like he wants his privacy. He just gives you that vibe being all tucked away in the corner of his bed.
Well, now is the time to go private. We have been wanting to go private for quite some time but have been unsure how to do so. This is why we have been blogging about our dog Cooper and have not really used our names. I know... a little crazy beings that we don't really have kids but you just never know with the crazy people in the world. So, if you would like to continue reading our blog then please let us know.
I plan on posting more about our family and keep up more frequently once the whole world is blocked and it is just those people that we know and love reading our blog. We have some upcoming fun adventures planned that will have some good stories so if you do not want to miss out please let us know. Leave your email address and I will make sure that I get back to you once we make the final steps in going private.

We LOVE warm weather... keep it coming!

We are so happy with the warm weather we have been having! Cooper especially loves it.  His favorite thing is rolling in the grass and sun bathing.  We went up to the cabin this last weekend and it was so nice to get away and hang out in the warm weather.  Cooper swam in the creek and we would go on walks so I am sure he loved the get away even more than we did.  Now we can make some more trips to go shooting and start thinking about camping.  Isn't summer wonderful?

So, after a year of being in our ward being the cute little nursery leaders we were finally released.  I was called as a Relief Society teacher (total opposite of nursery... yikes!) so I am hoping that things go well.  I am rather excited to teach and be able to learn instead of teaching little lessons for two min. tops. (Attention spans don't last too long)  My cute little hubby got called to be the Executive Secretary and is doing great at it!  He is such a wonderful example to me and I am so grateful to have him as a priesthood holder in our home.  He strengthens me and makes me feel great about my calling.  I also love the helpful information he gives me about our wonderful gospel that I don't understand sometimes.  He is so good at explaining things and quoting scriptures.  I really feel that it is the perfect calling for him right now and he will do great at it.  We have been so blessed and I am so thankful that we are going to have these callings to gain experience and grow spiritually.

Now... I can't say I am so excited about my husband's calling for one reason... I have been so good at trying to go unnoticed for the last year and a half that we have been married and I have done so good at it so far and then this calling comes along.  We would sit in the back of the chapel and then we had callings in primary and nursery so we weren't seen much by the bishop.  My plan failed when my hubby accepted his call... We were finally caught!  Oh NO!!! I hate speaking in church it is just so nerve racking.  We are going to be speaking this coming Sunday so everyone say prayers that all will go well.  I am really proud that my husband knows my dread of speaking.  They originally wanted us to speak the whole time but he told them, "I think my wife would appreciate some youth speakers."  Thanks for getting my back honey!  I am glad that you know me so well!

New and improved???

OK, so it's been awhile since I did some updating.  I know that I have said I will post pictures of the before and after surgery for Cooper but I just haven't really thought to sit down and blog about it until now.  The funny thing is that I am not really blogging about the surgery right now but something even more exciting.... Cooper got his first hair cut!  I was really nervous about how it would turn out but I really like it and it is a HUGE improvement from how it was getting.  Lets be honest, I love Cooper and think he is the cutest dog in the world but holy smokes he needed some help to make him the handsome dog that was hiding under the massive winter coat come out.  I am posting the before and after pictures and you all can decide for yourselves.

Before the Hair Cut (Wow)

After the hair cut... How cute huh?

New hobbies of mine

I have really taken a great interest in digital scrap booking, photo shop, and making calendars.  I must say that it takes care of the creative itch that I get.  I love crafts, decorating, and anything that I can just take off and be creative with. This is the first picture that I tried my talents at Photo shop with.  I think it turned out pretty good and can't complain.  I am excited to see the kinds of things that I can come up with once I become familiar with the things I can do with this awesome program.

Happy St. Patricks Day

We were asked to dress in green in the spirit of St. Patricks day... Low and behold I won 1st place with the wonderful outfit I put together. It is quite lovely I know! I won some legalized beer (aka: Root Beer) and a mug with an awesome necklace. Lots of fun and nothing can beat this awesomeness! ha ha! JK!

Tuesday, March 3, 2009

I just wanted to post a little something about my wonderful hubby to let him know how thankful I am for all he does. Today we have been married for a year and a half and it has been absolutely wonderful! We have enjoyed every minute together and I have decided that I would post some pictures of things we love to do, awesome, memories, and all the time that we have spent together. We love certain TV shows, going on walks, camping, shooting, vacationing, getting absorbed in a good book we can't put down, playing with our dog, and we just enjoy being with each other. My husband is great at doing the laundry and keeping the house picked up and I do not know what I would do without him. He is kind, loving, has a funny sense of humor, strong priesthood values, and is great at doing services to those in need! He is a wonderful example to me and our families. I know that he will make a wonderful daddy someday and it shows in how he treats any kid that crosses his path! I love you so much honey and I am so glad that we have been married for a year and a half! It has been the best in my life so far!

Super Bowl Sunday

We were laughing so hard when we were trying to watch the super bowl because Cooper wanted to be the center of attention. I know that I have mentioned him having his girlfriends and I just want you all to note that in these pictures he is loving on all three! I little riskay if you ask me. We were just laughing so hard! So the first pictures of him doing the butt wiggle and the last one is him being exhausted afterwards. Again, this is a tribute to Cooper not having his little members much longer.

May not be appropriate for younger children...

So, my lovely husband happened to catch this on video and sent it to me at work. I was laughing really hard because Cooper gets so upset when you film him or take pictures of him while he is preforming the butt wiggle. We decided to post this as a tribute to him with his juevos (sp?) because they will not be around much longer. I am almost certain that we will be seeing less and less of the cherished butt wiggle. I am sure it will be missed.

Catch up Time...

OK, we need to do some catching up. So the latest news is that Cooper is going to be getting fixed on Thursday this week. Poor little guy has no idea what is coming. We have a feeling that we will actually be able to take him places now with out worrying about him peeing on something. It has been so embarresing since he loves to mark his territory wherever he goes. We took him to the dog park awhile back and he decided to pee on a guys leg while we were there. I am glad they were good sports about it. They just said, "Well, I guess that is what you can expect at a dog park."

We went shooting last weekend and while we were there Cooper peed on everything he could. He didn't whine to go out for the rest of the day because he peed so much. I am going to post some pictures of our shooting venture and also some of Cooper because he had a lot of fun too, except when we had him sit in the jeep while shooting the AR-15. It is really loud and we didn't want him freaking out or anything. He looks so upset that he is in there and we are out having fun. We have a 22 and an AR-15 and both are very fun to shoot. Luckily, we were able to get the AR-15 before the prices went through the roof.

Sleepy Boy

I found this picture and had to add it to the blog! He is so stinkin cute. We were sitting on he couch watching TV and he went and jumped on the box by the printer and the laptop that were on the ground and decided to make it his bed. Doesn't look to comfy but he sure seemed to like it. He has been such a fun puppy to have. And I find myself missing how small he was sometimes. Cooper could fit in our two hands so easily and we could just cuddle him for hours. He is not too much of the cuddly puppy anymore. He likes his space but makes exceptions for his girlfriends.

Fun With Dad!

This is the Cooper I came home to! He had lots of fun playing with Dad outside and decided to have fun in the mud! This is his look like, "What's the matter mom? Are you upset that I am dirty?"
Cooper soon found out that his fun filled adventure outside with Dad was over. Mom made him come inside and out of no where she scooped him up put him in the sink to clean all the mud off of him! That's right, I washed away all his hard work and he was not too pleased with me! I think Dad was his favorite person yesterday because he let him have all the fun!

I am Cooper, King of the Mountain! Do you want to challenge me to a duel? It was so cute when he found out that he could climb up the massive snow pile in our yard! He was very proud of himself and kept climbing up it!

Brand New Puppy

This is our Cooper when he was a brand new puppy and came to live with us. He was so tiny that when he would eat and drink out of his food bowl his head was so heavy compared to the rest of his body that he would become top heavy and fall head first into his water or food. It was so adorable and he really did not know what to think about it. Just to give you an idea of how small he was, the picture with the ball, that is a golf ball. We had him up on our bed with us once and we were cuddling him and he was inching closer and closer to the headboard trying to find somewhere to sleep. Out of no where we hear a thump and we both noticed Cooper was no longer on the bed. We both rushed to save our puppy and he got a lot of love and attention for the rest of the night. Poor little guy!

My Girlfriends

Like I said in my previous post Cooper has his blankets which we call his girlfriends. Meet his girlfriend, Cassandra, this was the very first blanket he had when we brought him home as a new little puppy. We had him in a little kennel by our bed and he curled up on his green blanky and slept. That is right, the first night we had him I was certain that he would cry all night because it was his first night away from his mommy Blanche and all his little brothers. Surprisingly, he slept rather well and only woke up once because he had to go to the bathroom. Cassandra is definitely his biggest love because they have the most history. I will have to post a few pictures of Cooper as a brand new puppy, he was adorable and tiny!

Step Away From My Love Sac...

Cooper was wondering why his Dad was on "his" bed! We moved our love sac from my parents house to our house since we only have one couch and boy, Cooper has loved it! You could say he adopted it and made it his own. He sleeps on there, loves on his blankets up there, and really loves to chew and "burry" his bones with pretend dirt on his love sac. I don't think we will be able to get rid of it because it is his favorite thing in the whole house right now besides his blankets (which we so happily named his blankets his girlfriends). I have more stories regarding his beloved girlfriends in a later blog posts.

Trouble Maker

It is expected that if you do not hear Cooper then you should be worried. Silence is a bad thing in our house... He is growing out of the chewing on shoes stage more and more but he can not resist chewing on slippers! He loves slippers and in this picture he happens to have one of my favorite slippers I have owned. Once you say... "Ahhh! Cooper!" he rolls on his back with his paws up by his face and his ears pushed back as if to say, "Don't be mad mom! I promise, I didn't do anything!" It is the cutest most guilty look I have ever seen in my life. I will snap a picture next time so all of you can view his tricks. ha ha!

New at blogging... don't really know what to blog.

Meet our little boy, Mini - Cooper. He joined our family June of last year and he has been a joy to have in our family! This little boy is quite the trouble maker and makes us laugh all the time. We do not have kids to blog about so I have decided that for the time being we could blog about our dog. I am new at this blogging thing so lets be patient for now.
